Just a quick story to remind you how we can help…
Danielle’s father had died, and her mother passed away a year later. As an only child, Danielle was beyond overwhelmed with all that needed to be done through the probate process. Her parent’s house has a lifetime of furniture, artifacts and personal property. Danielle said she has “head mush” from the grieving process, while working a full-time job over 120 miles away.
She didn’t want to have an estate sale because she couldn’t wrap her head around neighbors and strangers rummaging through her parent’s things. Danielle shared that she and her dad were both retired military. Danielle loved our recommendation of donating to a local charity that helps veterans.
We connected with the organization to evaluate what they would and would not take, plus we orchestrated the packing and their visits to collect the donations. After the donatable items were removed, we then had a dumpster delivered and organized a crew to fill it with what was left.
Danielle was markedly relieved knowing her parents’ accumulation over the years was being used by veterans, and she had minimal involvement in that process.
